Maryland Local Businesses
Maryland Local Businesses connects local companies with the customers around them — combining business listings, SEO-optimized profiles, social promotion, paid advertising, review generation, email marketing, and lead generation into tiered memberships. It's one of three brands I lead marketing for, alongside Maryland Local Marketing and USB Payment Processing. In practice that has meant strategy, creative, sales, hiring, and the technology underneath all of it.

January through July 2026. The January spike is a single week that broke out — one reel carried roughly 2.2M views on its own.
Building a business, not just campaigns
I helped launch a multi-tier monetization strategy spanning CRM services, directory listings, and structured and custom marketing plans, then expanded the offering into new verticals. That work contributed to a 525% revenue increase within six months and 1,066% within twelve.
I sold and managed over 75 units through Facebook ad campaigns myself, then built and trained the sales team that drove the rest — stepping into whatever function the moment needed.
Systems that made scale possible
Going from 30 to 500+ accounts is an operations problem before it is a marketing one. I built the SOPs and automated workflows that keep delivery consistent across every engagement, and layered in AI-powered systems to increase quality and speed without adding headcount for every new client.
I also helped launch a custom CRM platform and developed the lead funnels, QA processes, and reporting that keep the pipeline honest — including validating lead quality before it ever reaches a salesperson.
Paid media & content
I direct paid media and SEO across Google, Meta, and programmatic channels, managing roughly $200,000 in annual ad spend across client accounts and generating over 20,000 qualified leads for the business and its clients.
On the creative side I set the direction and, early on, personally filmed and edited the photo and video content — appearing on camera as talent, including a feature on WMAR-2 News for a statewide user-generated campaign promoting local businesses on Small Business Saturday.
Growing the team
I grew the marketing team from 3 to 11 employees, personally sourcing, hiring, and training every member, and built incentive programs for the sales and operations teams that drove more sales and more customer reviews. The reels in the second rail below were produced by the team I lead.
In my first year with the company I was named MVP — recognized for exceptional performance and strong leadership.
